Christmas Eve / Customer Appreciation Party

Believe it or not, this will be the Olympic's **67th** Christmas at Fulton and Main.  It's strange for me to look at it that way, considering I've spent a large portion of my life in this building.  Not many businesses can claim 67 years of longevity, and we truly owe it to you, our guests, for making it happen.  We've been a default meeting spot for friends, or when you're solo.  We've enjoyed hosting your birthday parties, holding political events, popping some champagne after your wedding proposals, and even functioning as an impromptu community center when Rockford's power went out for a few days.   

Every business wants to "develop a relationship" with their clients, but we are lucky that ours actually become our friends.  And that's just the wonderful nature of the restaurant business -- our job is simply to share great food and drink with our friends.  I could not be luckier to have a better occupation, and I really cannot express how much your support means to me, my family, and all our staff.  From the bottom of our hearts, we genuinely thank you for making The Olympic Tavern your home away from home.

And so we'd like to let you in on a little secret -- every year, on Christmas Eve, we open from 12-7pm for a special customer appreciation party.  We don't advertise it, but if you're out and about on Christmas Eve, in between family visits or buying last minute  presents, stop in and let us thank you personally.
