Join us as we welcome one of our favorite Rockford bands, Kelly Steward & The Restless Kind, back to The Olympic Tavern. 9:30 pm - never a cover charge.

Kelly Steward is a classic singer-songwriter in the vein of Emmylou Harris, Shelby Lynne, Tift Merritt, and Kelly Willis, and like many singer-songwriters, the trials of life serve as passionate inspiration for Kelly’s songs. Back in the Middle of America after a few storied years in Los Angeles, Kelly recorded her EP “Long Long Road” with producers and fellow musicians Miles Nielsen and Dan McMahon. “Long Long Road” has received much praise all over the world from the U.S. to Europe. Currently she is working on a second EP called “Out From Within”, an intimate piece of work to be released in February 2012 to be followed by her first full length album with her band The Restless Kind due to be released in the Fall of 2012….Stay Tuned!"
